CD2, LFA-3: electrostatics and specificity
The electrostatic potentials of LFA-3 and CD2 are shown on the left. On the right, the electrostatic potential of CD2 is projected onto LFA-3 in orientations (arrows) seen in other structures, for comparison with native LFA-3. The matches for hCD2 and rCD2 implied that this was the likely orientation for the CD2:LFA-3 complex.
