Objectives
The objectives
of the British Society for Haemostasis and Thrombosis are the advancement of public education and the promotion of all branches of
medical science concerned with haemostasis and thrombosis.
Meetings
In furtherance of these objectives the Society holds regular meetings
at which members of the Society and their guests present and discuss their work.
Clinical Advice
Please note that the BSHT cannot give
advice about individual clinical problems
related to either bleeding or thrombosis
Membership
Anyone interested in the field
of haemostasis and thrombosis is eligible to join the Society. Membership fees are only £25/annum. Anybody wishing to apply for BSHT
membership may send a completed application form (
click here), together with 2 proposers (who have to be existing members of the BSHT)
and a short (1-2 page) curriculum vitae, to:
