- Number of trials included: 13 randomised trials (two oral anticoagulants, five standard heparin, six low molecular weight heparins), but only seven included.
- Number of patients: 802
- Control group: Usually placebo
- Main outcomes: Pain free and maximum walking distance.
Results
There was no improvement for any treatment.
Comment
There is not a hint of evidence that these are beneficial.
