Aspirin

Aspirin is one of the most used medicines. It has for long been a major analgesic and antipyretic, but now is widely used as an antiplatelet to reduce heart disease and strokes. It may also prevent some forms of cancer. But it is not without harm, notably its effects on the gut, causing bleeding. This resource centre aims to pull together stuff on aspirin.
