Clinical trial
This double-blind crossover trial compared hydroquinine 200 mg in the evening and before going to bed with placebo in 68 patients. The study was probably randomised, but is in Dutch, which makes this difficult to ascertain. We think it was. Duration was two weeks for each period.
Results
There were no significant differences for any questions or outcomes.
Comment
It is highly likely that hydroquinine is without effect in RLS.
