- Unique purpose built NHS ward for people suffering from any benign or malignant chronic pain.
- Modern ward consisting of 6 single rooms, 2 of which are ensuite located in a quiet and pleasant part of the Churchill Hospital
- Inpatient stay can be up to 3 nights. This enables the patient to receive a thorough examination, appropriate treatment, time in which to evaluate the treatment and a plan for care in the future
- Patients can expect quick and efficient treatment given by specialist doctors and nurses

- Changes in medication using research based evidence
- Injections eg. Epidurals, Facet joint Injections, Neurological blocks
- TENS
- Counselling and Education
- Specialist nurses have time to listen to patients problems or concerns in a confidential, quiet and relaxed environment
- Nurses regularly use relaxation, massage and distraction techniques
